IT would be an awesome rate.... You would have an outstanding job in the civilian sector...

Depends on what kifn of future you want for yourself.. Im an AD, so I work on aircraft engines, with all my OJT and training i could get a decent job when i get out. But im also expanding on that by going to an Aeronautical college to get my degree in prof. aeronautics.

I geuss what im trying to say is, if you want a jump start in your life joining the military isnt a bad choice, just pick a job you are going to like, or have an intrest in, so you can build on it through your career.

Anytime, and from personal expierience, computer systems are a great frield to get into. Because soon almost everything is going to be automated by computers. PLus networking is a good field as well.

they are not going to list the bonuses anywhere on the net, because all the bonuses are based on certain factors. like for FC(fire controlmen) i know a few FCs that got only 2000 but i got 8000 for having 14 college courses. talk with a recuiter, but remember they are getting paid to get you in the navy. just go in with what you want and stick with it. i am in the Navy and a FC3 and loving it!! but it really is what you make of it!!! remember that!

just understand that the job you pick is going to be what YOU really want to do, skip a bonus to get the job you want!! trust me it will be better in the end for you. if you have any questions about a job or anything like that let me know i am more then happy to explain "the real" breakdown of a rate(job).

Ehh.. just because they offer a BIG BONUS doesnt mean you are going to like the job. Look into the job first.. then talk with someone thats in that rate. Take your time, and dont just jump into it.

If you find a recruiter to that already has his quota for the month you maybe able just to sit down with him and go over stuff with him before joining. Make him break everything down to you. Take someone along who is already enlisted and has a head on there shoulders to help you. If you have college credit I would try to come in as a officer. Go into medical field or something get out after you put in your 4-6 years and go work for a hospital and get paid.
