Well I drpped the car off today for normal service and such. Everything was good. They called me about an hour and a half later about a problem they were having..... They found that not only was I previously using a aftermarket Intake of some sort but I had also cleared vital codes from my system that has done engine damage.....I said no big deal it is still under warranty right........WRONG! They have already put a warning tag on my VIN that states the cars engine no longer qualifies for warranty due to using the Intake and Clearing vital codes with a tuner......... Man I am pissed!!!! To say the least. I still had 30K left on the warranty. The engine problem is gonna cost 2200 to fix! Dang it! They said the issue was what was causing the car to be sluggish at startup and off the line. I already tried to tell them to prove that these things were done to it, well they can prove that the codes were cleared with a tuner....it was recorded in the system! Dang big brother!!!! The CAI they said is an assumtion based on the codes that it was throwing....they said that it shows an error code for air to both banks......yep it sure did at one point. I told them that was impossible and they have the printout of when the codes showed up and when they were cleared. I am at a loss.... I think I am gonna have to just trade it in as is.........

Actually, I just got back from the dealer picking it up.......there actually was a problem...Glad I put the stock airbox back on it. They replaced the MAF and were thinking the throttle body was bad too. The MAF cured the problem but they said if the CEL comes back that they will most likely end up replacing the throttle body. Once they put the new MAF in it stopped throwing codes so they didnt go any further with it.
