underdrive pullies

got some new steeda underdrive pullies from Wicked_SVT (thanks again by the way) , wanted to set up a day on the weekend or something to see if anyone could help me put them on. never done it before and dont want to jack my car up. let me know when is a good time for anyone.

Easy install but you must have a pulley puller. Radiator must come out as well.

i was looking somewhere how to do it and it said i put the harmonic balancer over the other one because it would throw the crankshaft out of balance. correct?

I have a pulley puller but your way up there........

It depends ot the ones you bought. Some of them attach to the pully you are correct and some replace the stock pullys. Its a no brainer replacing them just make sure when they say dab some RTV on bolt and reapply stock bolt into new pully you gob it on there. I have a leak on my lower from spraying. You can rent a gear puller from Auto Zone and you just need basic hand tools. This is a easy way to free up HP good buy.

it's a good thing too, pullies are not recommended for machs.

as for installing pullies, i did them on my old new edge v6. basically what black stallion said. you need a pulley puller and a serpentine tool wouldn't hurt either.

You dont need a serp tool just use a breaker bar. Talk to Foxman he could install them in 1/2 hour if that I am sure

i have one. you don't need one, just helps a lil. if you're already renting a pulley puller, why not? hobby shop SHOULD have all the hand tools you need though.

i figure i might as well get a new radiator before i do the pullies. kill two birds with one stone.

its an 01-gt nothings wrong with it. just get some better cooling along with another job that is in the same area.
