wow was expecting more hits on this video LOL...

the bottle was only at 800psi to... so the hit would have been a little harder at 950 to 1000 where i run it

with going that high in bottle pressure could cause you to go to lean if your not jetted for that pressure.. mine is jetted for a 900 to 950 psi..

I'm down dustin

yea we told the guy that video taped that race not to roll the window down, but hey what can i say....

you cant fix stupid LOL!

well you should jet accordingly.... from what i understand is the jetting is jetted by bottle pressure... just like jetting for different fuel pressures..

Il Run 1100 psi all the time with my 150 shot. The more pressure you have the harder it hit. If its tuned that way it wont go lean.

do you have problems with bad bottle pressure drop... tuning is everything but 1100psi is hard for the heater to keep the pressure there...

leaving hard at 1100psi and dropping to 600 seems shitting... dropping 500 PSi vs 200 psi is a big difference.. i will stay with my 900psi..

750 at the end of the track vs 600 could make a pretty big difference

to be honest. I dont notice the drop off. Im gonna have to watch my gauge more next time I race. I use a torch to heat my bottle up. I have yet to get a bottle heater. Someone suggested boiling some water and keeping my bottle in the coler of hot water till time to race. Havnt tried that yet. You should try heating yours up to 1000 or 1100 and leaving once. Youll WANT to do it again and again, LOL.

Running nitrous lean then really rich is not good for the engine.. the bottle warmer if left on should help hold your bottle at 900 if you start there.. i remember dustin running at famoso and after every run we would check his bottle pressure and it was at 900psi everytime.. If i want a harder hit... I will run a bigger shot. Running your bottle at 1100 psi unless jet right is running your nitrous jetting lean then fat at 600... bad combo.. if it works for you great.. but your doing everything i have been told and taught not to..

instead of running your bottle at 1100psi why dont you run a bigger shot?

careful heating your bottle with a torch... hot spots can be dangerous

There is a direct correlation between bottle temperature and the bottle's internal pressure, so keeping the bottle at a specified temperature will also maintain the desired pressure. For example, if you maintain the bottle at 90-92 degrees F, there'll be about 950 psi at the start of the run. The pressure will drop during the run, but you should still have 880-900 out the back. Depending on local climate conditions, this may require a bottle blanket and electric heating device for warming the bottle, or a cold towel and ice to cool it.

you need a heater and your pressure drop problem will go away... got this from one of the links you posted
