Don't take it the wrong way. I'm old and terrible with names/faces. Lots of you I haven't met yet in person. I didn't realize how many WS ppl were racing or over in the spectator area. So I didn't find you guys until later. And some of you I could have been standing right next too and didn't know it. I need a cheat sheet or something.

Thanks Gibs for letting me know the races were still going. It was raining when I left oceanside and raining when I came home. And it is still raining now. Weird!

It was some great racing! LOL those last two runs, that dam Audi AWD V8 was cutting like 1.8 60fts and I was playing catch up. He beat me the first time and I was determined to get him and went the second time. My 2.4 60fts killed me. He nosed me out the second time, but I was running him down pretty hard.

Emilio, the man in this picture is my friend William (former motorcycle road racer who led the first lap of the first organized competition on Riverside International Raceway, in 1957). William accused his friend (whose father once owned Kimber Arms, for you gun guys), who was racing a GM product at Qualcomm that night, of putting this invasion of privacy on the 'net.

William's cover story is that the little girl is not close to, nor is she associated with, him and that she was there with her "sponsor" who was racing a Lamborghini. Sounds kind of bogus, to me.

So, was there really a Lamborghini there, and is there any chance at all that this girl was not what she appears to be in this photo? William said he hates to think of what this might do to his reputation; if it gets around he may have to buy a couple boxes of Viagra ...

If my crappy memory serves me right, that young blonde was there with her dad, who was dirving the black GT500 Super Snake, along with her sister and friend. They just happen to be standing near your friend William

He's kidding. Just amazed that by a wild coincidence I could show him a photo that could be taken as compromising. He's a playful person, too.

I did see the Lamborghini in other of your photos, Emilio. Maybe he was telling the truth.
