Wickedstangs 3rd Annual Domestic Performance Cruise and Dyno Shootout

This is the planning thread for the event. Please dont post anything here except questions and relevant info about the event. I will be keeping a list of the other sites that this event is posted on here.......Do not post anything to another site unless you are going to keep the info updated please.

Here is the event primer that I have started on here.....

Where: Southern California
When: Mid October
Who: All Domestic Performance vehicles
Sponsored by: Wickedstangs Performance Shop(more to come)
What: Domestic Performance vehicles meet and greet, Spirited drive through back highways of Southern California, Meet at Dyno Shootout Location, Dyno vehicles, BBQ, Hang out and talk cars.

Last years event was covered in an article by Mustang Monthly. Come out and support a great event with a good group of motorheads.......

Already had 2 good responses on SCS. Cant wait to see everyone at this event. We will need full Board member participation to do this again this year. Last year we learned alot from mistakes. We want to rid the event of the "Dumb" mistakes.

Ok this is a little of the route we are looking at... What do you all thing?

We are going to try and have it on...

Small Cruise and Head to JBA for a big event maybe food and charge 35dollars for dyno shootout..

What do you all think?

As soon as it is official I am going to ad the pic to the primer thread.......make contact with JBA and MAC to see if everything is a go with them.....and that will lock in the route.

Gibs, I am working it.. You will be the first to know... For your info MAC wants to do everything and does not want us to include JBA which is a big conflict..

And JBA sent me this email today:

Tell MAC goodbye. We will use Bilstien then and shorten the route. Easy fix........plus they dont have a dyno right? They cant do it there.......

Tell them that the whole point of the event is to have a start point, a CRUISE portion, and a finish with a dyno shootout.....if we change that, then the event isnt the same and we wont get the same amount.

Also, tell them that we will host a dyno day at their shop in early december or whatever if they do this event.....we just advertise it and then people will show.....blah blah blah.....

What else is up in Temecula we could start at? I will get ahold of them and we can go there instead.

Well Crower will limit the amount of people as you almost need a passport to get there.....

They wanted exact numbers and a date!!! hmmm recurring theme....they want the info and I dont have it.

Bilstien will basically eliminate the entire cruise.......

It is only like 15 minutes up the road........all highway cruise and stuff.....


I am ok with it, but the cruise wont be as good....

If MAC doesn't want to play with others, then tell them good bye. As for Bilstein, I like the idea and we can run the cruise through many routes. Keep working it guys, never say quit!!!
