What r you doing to the Mach Dustin? Maintenance or mods? I cant wait to get back!! I am having 2 new belts picked up for me before I get back ( 1 spare ). I want to get the Stang back on the road as soon as I get there!! Got to get it ready for Knotts!!!! Take care and tell Feared's Wifey I said hello :).

OK for future refrence for everyone on this forum... if you are Removing the upper control arm bushings on a 79-2004 mustang with out a lift... just remove the rear axle from the car! LOL

yea,.... alot of hassle for some upper control arms.

i can tell by the threads that plug was install incorrectly... look how they are gald all the way up...

read number 6 post..

the piston can not come in contact with the spark plug unless you have the wrong plugs or the rod come loose from the crank.... and even then the piston would have to push through part of the cylinder head to hit the plug...

I just read in to that topic alittle more that you posted... i think i know what happened.. if you are infact running 4 thread heads... your spark plugs being 8 thread are going to far in to the cylinder...

you need to get a 4 thread spark plug... that way the 4 extra threads arent hanging in to the cylinder getting carbon on them... when they do that it makes in hard to get those last 4 threads out with the build up on them... make sense?

Yea i see whats going on. Im ordering a commong n20 plug used by mach1 owners, so i hope those fit better. I'll just be more carefull, Learn new stuff on these every time something goes wrong.
