OK why do we have good members that are asking to be deleted and asking to be removed from different forums and such? Why are these good standing memmbers leaving Wickedstangs? Is it a leadership issue? Is it a member issue? What is the issue here?
Here is my view of it.......(Just my view!)
Emilio has outright control of who, what, when, where, and how this club is ran! If you dont support an issue that is brought up, well that is fine. Not everyone is going to be happy with every decision. We should not be doing things a certain way, "Just because we have always done them that way!" We should be finding new ways of representing our club. New ways to show our support to other clubs(Regardless of brand). Yes I said regardless of brand.....that is because we will only get as good of treatment in return as we dish out. Overall it is disgusting to watch a bunch of great members upset and leaving the club over what equates to nothing! Nothing changed except we were asked to be cordial to another club! That isnt hard to do people.....even as stubborn as some of us are.
There is a phrase that I learned awhile back and it rings true in this situation:
Acceptance doesnt equal agreeance.
in case it isnt understood by some: basically just because you accept what is going on and show support for it doesnt mean you always agree with it. I am sure that most of us have done this throughout our careers(regardless what career it is that you have). I understand this is just a car club and you shouldnt have to accept something you dont agree with........well the president of the US gave out Billions and Billions of dollars right??????? Most here disagreed with that right??????? Why arent you in Canada or Mexico by now........you accepted that and it cost your country's economy and stuff.....this didnt effect anything except us being nice to another club.
My rant is over with this statement and I am now done with the situation.....stay if you want, go if you want, it dont matter to me anymore as I am tired of hearing of it.......
