<div>The Ford Crown Victoria, a car that has become extremely popular with law enforcement over the years, has slowly gathered an enthusiast following by the general public. They aren’t hotrods in stock form, but the basic layout makes them good candidates for high horsepower modifications. The 4.6-liter 2-valve modular engine and being rear-wheel-drive makes it modification friendly, if you can deal with the weight.<br />

It doesn’t stop there however, as this car has a very extensive list of <a href="http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1798622&fpart=1" target="_blank">modifications</a> not only to the power train, but also to the chassis, interior and exterior. <br />

While to most the symbolic Crown Victoria in your rear view mirror is intimidating for legal reasons, Zack King’s Crown Victoria is intimidating for other reasons. The lowered, more aggressive stance and the turbocharged 4.6 power plant lays down 408 horsepower to the tires. Quite the improvement over the rather unimpressive 239 flywheel horsepower these cars rolled out of the factory with. <br />
<br />
The engine internally is basically stock, featuring the usual bolt-on modifications such as - <a href="http://www.marchperf.com/" target="_blank">March</a> under drive pulleys, 3” exhaust and a ported and polished upper intake plenum. The real power is force-fed into the 281 cubic inch motor by a 60mm <a href="http://www.precisionturbo.net/" target="_blank">Precision</a> turbocharger. All this power is transferred through a 4R70W transmission with a 3000-rpm stall converter. <br />

On the exterior, the car features clear corner lights on the front, smoked taillights and tinted windows. The lowered stance comes via a completely custom air bag setup. The car also rolls on a set of 18” Ford Mustang black Bullitt style rims.<br />

King drives the car daily anywhere and everywhere, making this one cool cruiser that turns heads everywhere it goes. King plans on upgrading the motor with the addition of <a href="http://www.trickflow.com/emain.asp" target="_blank">Trickflow</a> heads, improved camshaft designs and a larger turbo - as well as many other supporting modifications in hopes of reaching his 800rwhp goal. <br />
