13k Miles and New Tranny Time

OK, my tranny is noisy as hell, vibrating and squealing like a stuck pig. I have decided to go with a Performance Automatic AODE with a 3000 RPM stall converter, manual valve body with a trans brake and a new lightweight drive shaft and flex-plate. My reasoning is this: Ford will not fix the car, and why would I want to put the same piece of shit back in and just keep tearing up trannys and clutches anyway? So, for about the same money, I can set up a killer automatic that will not only hook up better, but be more consistant at the track.

Replacement Tremec 3560 - 1700.00
Clutch, PP, Slave/TOB, Flywheel - 750.00 - 900.00
Driveshaft - 600.00
Driveshaft loop kit - 160.00

Performance Automatic AODE - about 2800.00 for everything, less drive shaft and loop

I'm saying sell the stick car for and automoatic car! You may have to replace the TCM with an automatic TCM

you cant make the 3560 better... its crap just like the 3650! I dont know what ford is thinking with all these off the wall transmissions.... I wish they would just stick with the damn T56! chevy and dodge can get there shit together but ford always has to try to fix somthing that isnt broke! I guess they follow the old saying fix it till its broke!
