January 2008: Lindsay
Usually we get fathers sending in cute shots of their toddlers inelectric Mustang toys, but this time around we have a stepdad, DaveDePeau of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who submitted shots of his lovelystepdaughter, Lindsay Richardson, for BOTM. We hope Mom is OK with that.
Lindsey joined the fray in one of our most competitive BOTM online pollsin recent memory. After we sorted out all the skullduggery going on, wedetermined she was the winner, and you can see why. Not surprisingly,Dave doesn't have much to say about her, but he has a lot to say aboutthe '05 Mustang GT he owns with Lindsay's mom, Terry.
"Our Torch Red coupe has a Shelby theme without slavishly duplicatingall of the Shelby-look elements," Dave says. "It has the white LeMans-style stripes like a Shelby, but the pinstripes on both sides ofeach stripe subtly set them apart. The sides of the car have GraphicExpress Mustang fader rocker decals instead of Shelby-style rockerdecals."
Other mods include American Muscle GT4 wheels, Pirelli PZero Nero tires,a Vortech supercharger, FRPP exhaust, FRPP gears, Steeda lower controlarms, and a host of shiny billet stuff from MGW, UPR, and Silver HorseRacing. All of the gears were installed at CJ Pony Parts. The resultsare 360.14 hp and 338.64 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.
"The car hasn't been to the track since the Vortech was installed. Priorto the installation, the car ran a best of 13.68/102.52 in thequarter-mile," Dave says. "The staff at CJ's assured me that the carshould now easily break into the 12s."

February 2008: Laura
When you're known around town as Sexy 'Stang, it should go withoutsaying that you're BOTM material. That's certainly the case for LauraLitke, who topped our online poll at 50mustangandsuperfords.com.
Laura is the proud owner of a 40th Anniversary Edition red V-6 Mustang,and her boyfriend--sorry, fellas--owns an '05 Mustang. Since Laura didn'ttell us much about either car, we have to assume they're stock. But youguys aren't really reading this page for the cars anyway, are you?
