Ford chose the New York Auto Show to reveal the new 2009 ‘Warriors In Pink’ Mustang. We all know the drill with the WIP Mustang. Ford will only be making 1,000 of these limited special edition vehicles. $500 from the sale of each Mustang will go to the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure breast cancer awareness organization.
The new Mustangs are made using the V6 Mustang Premium models and have been given a pink hood, brand new grille adorning the front of the car, pink stripes along the side and the top of the car, a pink ribbon badging, and of course pink accent stitching on the interior.
The Mustang that was being displayed by Ford was a silver coupe that came with the glass roof – which is an optional feature. Ford is offering the WIP Mustang in black or white paint and also in ragtop.
