how do they install. they say they are safe, but how? do you have to modify your trunk to acomidate the seat?

There are tiedowns in the Back area of both of the SUV's I have had. They bolt into that that is bolted to the frame basically.....So I think they are just as safe as any other bolted in seat.....Now in a rear collision they proobably are not as safe....

they bolt to the tiedowns? good idea, when i get an suv i need 3 rows, so thats a cool invention

not a bad idea now lets buy one and build a better one thats cheaper and put them out of business
