98 cobra engine removal...

ok i have someone that will pay me a grand to remove and replace the engine in there 98 cobra... now i know of two ways... take engine out the bottom.... I dont have a hoist so thats kind of out of the question.... second is out the top but is it possible to do on these wide ass engines... I tryed to google it and nothing came up... if anyone knows of a write up.. please let me know!

look at my avatar, that the way i did it. Jack it up take off front tires then set the rotors on boards to give you more clearance. Just gotta get underneath and drop tranny first.

yea hay foxman, is this for van??? and as far as the removal and instalation, its stupid easy through the bottom!!!pull the k member and let the motor come with it!!! i used some jacks and just lowered it off of them, real simple and probably a bit easier because you can lign up the tranny while the motor is out of the car and it gives you more room to work with the top tranny bolts obviously because there isnt any clearance issues with the fire wall!!!

and if it is for van, then you can use my motor. i just moved and need it out of my old garage. its still in great shape, but could use some cleaning up!!!
