Well I am a little sad that only 2 people were nominated. With all the good things that re happening around all chapters of Wickedstangs, they should be recognized. I believe this will be the last month for the member of the month, unless there is a outpouring for it to continue.
The nominees are as follows:
1. GT400SC: He offered several designs for the race car and one of them was chosen earlier this month. He devoted over 20 hours to creating the custom graphics and installing them! All of this was done as a donation to the WickedStangs Racecar! "If its going to rep the club, it must look like a winner", a quote from him. On top of the graphics design for the car he also painted the hood and bumper of the racecar. The only compensation was $50.00 to offset some of the cost he incurred when buying over $150.00 worth of materials for the painting alone. Between the graphics and paint he saved the club over $500.00 in materials and upwards of $1000.00 in labor if we had someone else do the work! He is always available to create custom banners and stickers for everyones cars. He has even dropped everything to create, deliver and install the graphics for people. He is always willing to help a member out even when he wasnt aware they needed the help installing the graphics. He meticulously planned out the most detailed travel itinerary for a club caravan to Fresno. This plan includes visual directions for every stop and turn throughout the journey! He strategically placed decals all over the inside of his car for his shifter install. This shifter install was video taped and put onto the TCI website for the world to see. This has helped in the expansion of the Wickedstangs club name not only in the US, but across the globe too. Recently he stepped down from a prestigious Commission Chair position with the city so he could devote more time to the club. Doing this along with all the other extrordinary items listed above led him to win a position on the Board of Directors for Wickedstangs by a landslide! He has my vote for MOTM and should have yours also.
2. Venom4: He put together the Whipple Factory tour for Wickedstangs up in Fresno. He did all the leg work and contact with the Whipple people. This tour/network can benefit Wickedstangs and possibly Wickedstangs race with sponsorship or some other benefits in the future. I would like to recognize Venom04 for his contribution to improve this club.
