well... to say the least, it was a pretty eventful day. in the end, i think i can say we all had a blast. thanks for telling us about this charlie and i'll def. do this again.

but this day started off pretty rough... renegade (shane) on his way to kerman, with me and his father, hit a dog. =( it was either a pit or a pit mix... now i do have pics, but i will only show you guys the pics of the damage done to renegade's mach, as i know some here are dog lovers (renegade included). i was driving behind him and i saw the dog basically get folded in half under his mach as renegade's driver's side went airborne. thankfully, i did not hit the dog myself.

feared did manage to pop out the front bumper at the event and renegade did get a chance to drive his mach... but the incident wasn't a good way to start the day.

here's pics of renegade's mach after he hit the dog:

charlie (sicfiddy) and dustin (feared) all got a bunch of pics and vids, so i'll wait for them to post theirs as they prob. turned out better than my camera phone ones.

p.s.

shane, if you want pics of the dog for insurance purposes, just text me and i'll send you all the pics i got. can't wait to see you with your roush front bumper. lol!

Daaaaang!!! That sux! For the dog and the Mach... It looks like the plastic might be able to be popped back out.. Im sure it wouldnt be perfect, but maybe better than that just till he gets a replacement for it..

RIP Mr. Dog...

ill put it back how it was, but it still doesnt line up with the fender, all the driver side brackets are snapped, and the fog light and all mounting points are destroyed. but i got very lucky, its very minimal damage for hitting a pretty big size dog doing 70-73MPH. also think i might have bent something in the suspension cuz the car actually drives straight now and bounces a lil more at high speeds

That sucks.....that is why there are leash laws.

I hit a dog a long time ago. Found the owner and they tried to sue for its medical bills. My insurance found that there was a leash law in the area and it was the owners fault the dog got hit. Then my insurance charged the dog owners home owners insurance for the scratches and small dent to be repaired....LOL I got the last laugh!

nope, cuz Riverdale doesn't have one, and i know that dairies dont, and it happened in front of one, and either way we couldn't find the owner

Did this not that long ago in the Cobra except on a coyote in Texas. Killed the animal..killed the foglight and bezel but the bumper snapped back into place with no damage to the paint. Sure she will be back 100% in no time! -Shane

You never know..............if you didn't hit and kill it, who knows? It may have mauled a little girl and her mother. After all it was a Pit. Just going off statistics here not trying to start a pitbulls are not aggressive arguement.

very true, and one note on the aggressiveness (not directed towards what you said Orange, and not trying to start the argument either) but their aggression depends solely on how they are raised and bred

it is much more likely to get attacked by a pit bull then a lot of other dogs... but i know of at least half a dozen pits that would lick you to death before ever biting you...

like you said its all in how they are raised
