they usually sew the mouth of the cobra together. it's a precautionary step for snake charmers.

Cobra's don't constrict, they use venom to kill :]

Posted this a few years ago, the baby is safe. It's something they do to take the fear away at an early age. It's kinda cute in a way but I love snakes. The fangs have been removed so no harm there. I think the snake is more irritated than anything and the baby wants to play, lol. I would say..much safer than having your little one playing with a dog. -Shane
