Come join the fun and earn your points toward the 2008 SUMMIT SERIES FINALS. Sunday's points race counts toward the ET CHALLENGE! ALL of our SUMMIT RACES are qualifiers for the KING OF THE TRACK RACE!!!! Did you know? The points leader in each category WILL BE AWARDED A WALLY!!!! So, what are you waiting for???? Gates open: 8:00 a.m.
Tech Inspection 9:00 a.m.

Donny, Louie and I went up to Barona dragway and had some fun in their test and tune. Donny had a best time of 8.87 and I had a best time of 8.38. Louie did some the camera work no racing for him tday. Here are the linkfs for the videos. My 8.38 run against my buddies STI. His best to date is 8.4. He took off with out spooling up.

I still cant believe Anthony ran an 8.3. I called him out for this weekend at Race Legal. LOL
My best was an 8.7 at the stadium. It was my first time out with slicks and I only had the car for two weeks, and I also had my tune turned off by accident. Im interested to see what I will run this week.

Sounds like you will beat your best time then. 8.3 pretty impressive! I have to finally get my FOX out and see what it will do now. It went from bone stock 3 months ago, to having heads, intake, pulleys, E303 cam, headers, exhaust, throttlebody, a/c delete, upgraded motor mounts (old ones were trashed) and before race legal will have a set of 3.73's and subframe connectors. Possibly a new water pump fluidine radiator, and flexlite electric fan, as well. I also have a paxton supercharger and upper and lower intake manifold on the way down from Los Angeles hopefully next week. We will see what I can pull.
Anthony (white LX) his car is in the shop now, he replaced his clutch with a McCleod and got his 3.73 gears, as well as some BBK underdrive pulleys. His car will be done tomorrow. It should pull pretty damn hard too. Cant wait to see it.

That sound like a nice setup!!! I need 3.73's. I have 4.30's and they are WAY too much gear for my E-cam.



About the tune thing, I found the switch tucked up in my glovebox and didnt know what it was. I flicked it up and down a few times and it turns out I left it in the "off" position. DOH!!! I showed it to Donny and he realized what it was and told me I had been running with my tune off the whole time.

That sucks but that is also good.. Now you know and knowing is half the battle at least thats what GI Joe use to say. Well if you have been running hard without it on, then imagine when you are all tuned and set up to go. Serious pulling then. I look forward to installing all my stuff finally and meetin up with you guys to hit the tracks. Talk to you guys sooner than later I hope.

Hey guys I cant wait to get back to Diego and meet you guys. You sound like some racers. My best was always 9.0- 9.6 at the Stadium. I was running some 255 Ripkin tires on a 10 inch wide rim though. I now have BFG's I cant remember if they are 285 or 315's havent seen my car in a while. I am looking for a set of good used slicks and some kinda wheel for my car. I cant wait to get back do a few mods and try to reset my tune. Anyway I ran a 8.4 when I left on all moter. My main mods are listed and I had 297 to the wheels on this run so pretty good I would say. Cant wait for headers, driveshaft, slicks and nos. I am really hoping for mid to low 12's at Fun Ford Weekend Any help on parts I woudl appreciate e-mail me if you find a line on some slicks or used wheels
