Bullitt cover and Xzilon

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen,
Questions:

*What exactly is Xzilon? The dealer convinced me it would be a wise investment. Yes? No? Is there something special I am supposed to do to take proper care of this coating?

*Bullitt cover:
I purchased the cover for Her. I have washed it 3 times and air dried in the sun. I clean Her everyday whether I drive her or not. The cover seems to leave a sort of powder residue on the vehicle. What is it? Is there a way to eliminate this? I clean Her before I put her to bed but then I have to clean Her again before She goes out on the road because of the residue.

Suggestions?

don't do it just another way to get money from you.. Sounds like a Interior protectant... Do what I do.. Don't allow any food or drinks in your car and it will last forever

hahah no smoking or eating in my car i got leather so it i get some water on it it osent do much bc i keep a rag in there with me at all times in the back seat never spelt anything in mine hahaha

I do not allow food, beverages, (other than water for me), no shoes, no dirty clothes,etc. I keep the micro cloths in the car so I can wipe Her inside when I'm at a light and to wipe off my shoes before I take them off. I drive barefoot.

She is worth the extra effort to me. Did get my arm stuck between the disk and the rim trying to clean the entire inside of the wheel. That was funny in a rather "now what do I do" way. I clean the wheel wells too. And the inside and out side of Her pipes. She likes to be shiny

whats funny is that im not joking. my wifes group of friends have little names for all of us. my buddy alex is the pretty boy(looks like a backstreet boy), tommy is the smelly kid (wears the same outfit all the time) and im the dirty one(allways covered in grease and dirt from my car.

dont know how but i can get dirt and grease all over my face arms everything doing the most minimal jobs. weird how that works...lol

Well, I get dirty, wet, muddy, sweaty, scratched, bitten, cut, poked, fall out of trees, and hit myself daily with whatever tool I'm using. Sooooooo.
For this female, being clean, shiny and sparkly is a nice change.

I've never been to Alaska.

But you pretty much do a mini-detail everyday. I'm impressed. Don't want to sound sexist, but not too many women care for their car the way you do. In fact not too many men do either. :bd:

Thank you for the compliment. I don't think you are being sexist at all. It is true. Most women could care less about their ride as long as it has a Mercedes insignia and someone else to at least "clean" the poor thing. I do, very much , love my Girl, love cars.

I take care of my tools for my work the same. I love my tools. I love tools. Wish I could design my own tools. Nothing like a nice edge on whatever blade I am using. I'm not educated in sharpening them myself so I have to hire out but I do know when the job is done properly.

Girls do blah blah a lot don't they? I won't take offense if you agree. It IS true. Some sort of genetic disorder we can't seem to control. HA!
