C & L CAI Installed... Need a Favor

Hey all you S197/C & L Racer CAI guys... I need a favor. I just replaced my Airaid CAI with a brand spankin' new C & L Racer CAI, and when I de-tuned my car back to factory (to update to the new crom into the tuner), the Predator reset itself to factory spec, which I know is the case, but what the hell happened to the C & L tune that was one there? Now the car won't even run... LOL.

I posted at DiabloSport, and they told me that the C & L Racer tune only comes with the C & L Predator. Well I KNOW the C & L Racer tune WAS on my Predator in the past, because I remember commenting that it was one of the "stock" tunes that I downloaded from the Predator to my laptop when I updated the crom the last time I used the tuner. The problem is, that laptop is history, and I cannot find the C & L tune ANYwhere on ANY of my DVDs, flash drives, USB drives, etc.

Do any of you have the basic C & L Racer tune handy so I can get this thing running and get it to the dyno this weekend? My Predator is a U7140 for the S197's, and if you can help me out, I would be very grateful.

I don't why the updated crom. file for the U1740 does not include the C&L. I would order a tune from Doug at Bamachips. Tunes from Bamachips are $50 each. Where did you buy your C&L. If you buy an intake from Bamachips, he will send you 3 tunes for free.

I am planning on buying a tune from Doug at BC, but I found out today that I may lose my job on Friday. The company I work for has been letting people go by the handfuls since Christmas, and my time may be about up there. We shall see. Right now I just need to get the car running so I can move it.

Best of Luck to you. This economic downfall has had a negative effect on a lot of people. Regarding the tune, I would choose the 91,92,or 93 Torque tune (depending on the octane in your area)

Update

Thanks alot guys... I appreciate your thoughts. So far, I have made it through each round of firings/layoffs. But others that I worked daily with have not. There are no gaurantees, but it looks like I might be ok for a while. I am working on something else though, in the event I do lose my job.

Anyway... I ordered my tune pack from Doug at Bama Chips last night, as I finally had enough time to get all the numbers together for them. As soon as it's running again I'll post up another update.

I got the tunes loaded into my Predator this morning, but I spent most of the day getting the car cleaned up and doing brakes front and back. Super-detailing it and changed the Mobil1 and filter, too. The rears are completely done, but I just plain ran out of time and energy today to get the front-end finished up. I just have to throw the pads on and clean the wheels, then off the jack-stands she comes and I'll get the tune loaded. I'll post more tomorrow.
