Cam install

I may get cams when I return from deployment. If I do get them it will be NSR Comp stage 2. Would anyone be willing to meet me at Mirmar and give me a hand with the install or better yet, I could give you a hand since I have never did a cam install. I am not looking for a free cam install, but am looking to save a little money on the install.

I believe $700.00 is the normal performance shop rate, just wondering the Wickedstangs at Miramar rate is for a cam install.

not to throw out any ideas or anything, but im sure the club could have a big install party one weekend and do it all, and jsut donate the 200 or so to the club. anyone disagree with that idea?? gotta supply some pizza and beer or something tho...lol

Dude not to be a party crasher but there is a great deal of work involved in a cam swap. It is not anything that is just a quick swap. I know there are tons of guys that know how to do this, but keep in mind things like this can have serious reprocusions if done wrong!!!!!!!!

I'm always willing to help. Don't know how and never done a cam, but always willing to be there and help and learn. If I'm off work, I'll be there.

I've never done a modular cam swap but I know how to turn a wrench and since I live on base I'll be there. Now the question is Who has done a modular cam swap and is willing to help?

I would pay the 200$ There is alot of knowledge on here but I would look on the s197 foruem and see how much this will be a pain in ass or not. My budy Rick can do the swap for you and you need a tuner to tune after unless you are dyno tuning. Bama chips has tunes for cams

From what I have read, you can run NSR Comp 2 without a tune. But since I have bamachip tunes, might as well take advantage of the free tune updates they offer.
