I had some good luck and got my hands on a gt500 engine for cheap. Now comes the fun part with a build and eventual engine swap

You'll still need Brembo brakes, struts/springs, hood, wheels......

There just might be someone out there having these parts as spares soon

I won't need the hood. I put a 3" cowl induction on mine. which goes in for paint here in about 10 days. I put on the eibach spring kit yesterday so I should be covered there. At 500 bucks and the cost of shipping the engine to cali I couldn't turn in down.

I have a friend who owns a junkyard. He had a GT500 show up that had been rearended and totaled but the motor was in perfect condition with 3k miles on it. I had asked him to keep his eyes open for a 5.4 block for me. he called me this morning with this offer. a quick trip to western union took car of the rest.

There was a member here that was selling his GT500 parts cheap after he did a Super Snake conversion. I don't know if he still have them and I don't remember his name, but Wickedstangs know and work with him. If you need anything, you might be able to get it from him cheap.

it's going to be awhile before it goes in. I plan on doing some serious upgrades. Plus I am going to register the car out of cali so I don't have to deal with retarded california laws about motor swaps.
