are you out of your mind...the fox was made for nitrous!!! ask machman. forged internals stock. i hear talks about 150 shot all day long on a stock engine without problems

That explosion could have been stopped by a shut off valve. Also, NOS would be classified a DELTA fire right? All the CO2 extinguishers in the world wont put it out. Sand or let it burn itself out. Well in Phils case Jettison right Phil? You know what I mean.

Im not sceered... I am going to run a 100 shot. Nitrous has been around along time guys. Its has been a easy power adder since the late 60's early 70's The reason most blow up there cars is because they want to spray it like a import. If its set up right its safe. W.O.T need I say more... sometimes at 5000 RPM its hard to hit 3rd much less be pushing a button to add your nos watch your shift light ect... I cant figure out why they didnt shut the car off, pull a solinoid wire, close off the bottle something..

they were scared of it exploding... remember the car still has a fuel tank.. probably filled with race gas... a car on fire is a scary thing... if you notice once it burned for a second they start to try and put the fire out agian.

like phil is saying this stuff has been around along time and has been perfected IF USED right, it is some awesome shit!say you build a nice 12.5 car with good forged guts. you through 200 shot and now you got a 10 second car..... and it cost you say 1500 bucks... now you build a nice 12.5 car and you want to put a blower or turbo... well now you have to go the other way. lower the compression and then spend 4k on a turbo or supercharger!

Spend the money! Dont half ass it in your street car. Get the bottle warmer , the auto bottle opener, pay to get it set up or have a budy over have him help then take it for a ride come back drink down a 12 pack and talk cars rest of the night. Think of your next mod... LOL

I for one have some plans thanks to windveil. Instead of spending all the money on a s/c I am gonna have fun now with my car and a shot of nos. In the garage i will be buying a new block to build instead of a supercharger. Something rock solid set up for my driving style lol

hey mahcman, i dednt get the typhoon, i got the explorer, which is the same as the cobra lower and a little different upper, but much better than stock. im gonna eventually get it ported. as of last night yosemiddy hooked me up with 24lb injectors and a bad a$$ 90mm maf sensor. tire pressures dropped and my car hauls balls

Nice thats the setup i think i'm going with... the explorer is the same as the GT40 right... i think the Explorer helps a little more in the torque area... but nice... got and 1/8th mile runs on here yet.. what ET you getting...

have you found out what cam you have Beejay??
