A friend of mine from Anaheim is having a house built in Anacortes (Northern WA). He asked that I fly out here to help him drive back. He paid so what the heck! Little get away to enjoy the gloomy Washington weather.

I like the Anacortes area.....I lived in Everett for 3 years.

Gloomy weather sucks but it isnt that bad there....It could be worse.

Not too bad. Just hanging out with retirees at the local cafe' Could be worse! I missed the snow and floods out here. For now it's just cool, cloudy and drizzly. I really like this weather.

I lived in Mukilteo for a year (right next to everett) and Ravensdale for 4. I love Washington, but I'm not going to gripe about the SD weather lol.

Well I'm back! It was a long drive. I made very good time except when I got to the Duarte area at the 210 freeway. I got stuck on the shutdown 210!!! It took me 3.5 hours to get out of that area. From 1:30 pm til 5 I had only traveled around 9 miles ! I heard a rig flipped and spilled petroleum across all lanes.

Glad to be home safely. I hope no one got hurt.
