h pipe delay.

well today i went to have the h-pipe made and because of CA emisions laws the h-pipe can't be installed at the muffler shop. so the problem is that the only clamps that bolt the mid pipe up to the headders are made by bassani.
so i called them today and ordered the x-pipe adapter kit whitch =90$ plus tax & shipping. but the guy at the shop said he could make the rest of the mid pipe for about 60$ so that puts my cost up to 170ish but still cheeper than 330 for the bassani x pipe. but i have to wait till monday to have it made if the parts from bassani come in buy sunday. so hopefully i'll have it on for FFW.

hell no. and the h pipe might help the hp in the lower rpm. the 4v motor makes plenty of top end, so if i can get it to start to pull a little lower in the rpm band. and it will have a deeper sound too.

no i gave him a great price on them it was 75$ left over but just keep it james im not worried about it. my room mate is finally getting BAH so i can start modding my stang again! just ordered FRPP AC delete and Sequential taillight kit.

I think you need another muffler shop. There are plenty who would have done it for you.
I could refer you to some but they're all down here 7 hours away from you.

well the outher shops in the area are a little questionable on quality. and the don't want to break any laws. and i talked the guy down to 80$ to bake the h pipe.

yeah lots of muffler shops wont do anything that illegal in state of CA due to laws and and chances of getting in trouble im getting dumps to fit with the tq arm

that shuld sound pretty good. i'mnot a fan of dumps, they drone insidethe car alot. but they have a deep sound that i do like.
