this thing has lost a lot of power and it happened in one day, sounds like it was misfiring, but not sure it made a popcorn sound, and it would vibrate like crazy the car just got its spark plugs and wires replaced 3 days before this happened i could feel a great lose of power maybe 40-50 hp and its a v6

did you get the fireing order right? and it sounds like detonation to me. you might need to have someone see what your timeing is set at.

check if you put the wires in the right order, spark plug gap correct for your make and model, and if wires and or plugs are on properly

Ok, I can see that it ran fine right after the plug and wire change. First, go and buy one spark plug and make certain that the gap is correct. Then pull one plug at a time and replace it with the new plug. If the car runs rough still, check the gap on the plug you pulled and move to the next cylinder. I had the same problem and just one plug went bad right after I installed it. The key is to find the bad plug. This is an inexpensive way to verify the plugs work properly and that the gap is correct. Also, find a code reader and RUN THE DIAGNOSTICS.

what kind of plugs do you run in it? copper or platnum? stay with copper. platnum is garbage. i recomend autolites.

Wondering where I am!?!?
I had this problem before, when I changed the wires I didn't pay attention to the placement of the wires. Burnt the insulation on one and it was arcing.

Check your wires very carefully for a white spot. This is where a wire is arcing to the engine.

o.k so i checked the wires again and plugs and i put a scanner on it, the scanner said mis fire in cylinder 1, and i looked at the plug well had a lot of carbon on it, a lot in 4 days there was so much carbon that i had to get a new plug. oh and the wire was croded or burned the heat of the headers, and well my conclusion i replaced the plug and taped the wire put it far away from the headers and block, so im going to get new wires soon to replace these ones again, and also the engine light is still on it wont go away
