Help With Saleen Wing

I want to get a saleen wing when i get home and the only one that i really like is the S281 wing but can anyone tell me what the freaking difference is between the 99-00 S281 wong and the 01-04 S281 wing. i didnt think that there was a difference but saleen.com has the two of them for sale. can anyone help me?

no that 01-04 in the picture is the 3 piece s281 wing. on the saleen web site they go
99-01 S281E wing
99-00 S281 wing
01-04 S281 wing
99-04 S51
01-04 S281 3 piece wing.

im just trying to figure out what the dif is between the 99-00 and 01-04 s281 one piece wing. but thanks

well, the 99-00s281's have wongs, and the 01-04 have wings.

you want the 01-04 S281 wing... The other one look like a**

i think it has to do with the mounting holes in the trunk. 99-00 have 3 holes on each side. and the 01-04's have 2. the holes are also in different locations on the trunk lid.
i'm gonna run the steeda race wing on mine, and there's a diff between there 99-00 wing and 01-04's

that 3 peice wing is ugly....i think he's right about the mounting holes. a few years back my buddy had a 2000gt and had problems mounting his new wing because holes were different

You will probaly have to drill into the quarter panels.. make sure you check it a few times before you drill! That is what I had to do with my Roush wing

I cant post the pic but this is the difference, i'm pretty sure it depends on the where the oem spoiler holes are, the 2001 and later have different spoilers then the 00 and 99 mustangs.
