Just a food for thought. All weight must be on the car as it is normally to weld them in. I hope where you weld them in at has a drive on ramp to get under the car. Otherwise your doors may or may not open/close!!!!!

Foxman, are you adding the cross members that tie into the drivers and passengers seat. It really doesn't do much to stiffen the car, but it helps to support the thin and often cracked floor pans.

i plan to add that cross over piece that connects to the seat bolts... but now i didnt think about the wieght of the car being on the ground to not let the car twist when welding them in... this might not work... dont want problems with the doors... may have to re think this...

i figure i can support both sides at the same time and see how the doors open and close...

what i decide to do is weld the front of the subreame connectors on the front subframe... then put the car on the ground and weld the back... that way the car can settle itself...

hey no problem man.... thank you... i would have been pissed if my doors didnt open lol... my welding guy is on his way right now... going to weld the front and then the back once its on the ground....

fronts all welded up... i need to get the torch out and heat up the metal to get it shaped to the rear subframe... then weld the out side of the rear... then once the car is registered i will have a muffler shop do an exhaust and have them weld the inside of the subframes connectors...

Nice, Looks like chrome moly 1.5 X 2. You get the stuff from Industrial metal down on convoy/ronson or is that further south than you?

With my fox I noticed a huge difference. The car does not flex when you roll through corners and when you jump into the throttle, it bites harder for some reason. I also had my torque boxes reinforced at the same time...probably has a lot to do with the feel duing launch.

i did my torque boxes before i installed the 5.0 swap... i didnt really notice anything from those... so hopefully it will be noticed from the subframes... but then again im still running the stock 4cyl front springs and sway bars

Is that why my 93 feels wobbly? It pulls real nice for a stock Cobra, but feels a bit "loose" when I throttle during corners.
