i found this on another forum i'm not sure if there is another list for other generations of mustangs, this is for mainly 94-04 mustangs. I figured out that i could be stripping about 143 lbs off my mustang alot of common and easy items, each 100 lbs is worth about 1 tenth in drag racing and 1/10th is a big deal.

Wow, a chrome wheel weighs 7 lbs more than a non-chrome? That's not possible is it? 7 lbs is one and a half red bricks....for EACH wheel?

damn man, im surprised at exactly how much some of that stuff weighs, you gotta remember though like the disclaimer at the bottom of that page says all those weights are approximate, and they were gathered from other ppl, they didnt weigh the items themselves they just took other ppls info and made a table out of it!!! so some of the weights may vary!!! although i am surprised at exactly how much weight you can strip so easily!!!
