Yea should read my thread on 4cyl converted to a V8 thread i posted... it seems like alot of **** but the more i search the parts... everything is cheap! and it also has alot of good info about the fox body stang!

so far i got 20 bucks in it for a new ingition switch... but other then that it runs and drives great!

I suggest you save the receipts. It would be interesting at the end to add up how much it cost to rebuild the car.

oh for sure i will... but most of the parts will probably be bought used... I have found a 5.0 EFI wiring harness already with computer for a 130 bucks... and after another 70 bucks for the trans mount and 200 for the 5 speed and 5.0 engine it will have a running drive train in it.. that's only 400 bucks... then all it will need is a different yoke on the drive shaft but that's it.. then it would be a running 5.0 mustang that cant stop and a rear end that was running on bored time! lol

oh and if anyone can find another 15x6 rim that matches the other 3 on the car let me know... would like to get this car off the donut ASAP!!! its been on the car for 4 years LOL!

The plan is for a 10 second street car.. but its going to take some time.. trying to get the pink slip sorted out.. once its NON oped in my name, the car will be torn apart... it will have a complete 50 state legal build then a 200 shot of nitrous... should run 10.80 on the bottle

mainly what im looking for now is a trans mount... since i wont need a K member (the 4cyl K member is the same for the V8) all i need is a trans mount with the double hump for the dual exhaust... then a engine and trans... then wiring and computer... and it will be a running and driving V8 mustang.. wont stop for **** and the rearend will be rolling on borrowed time... but it will be a V8 stang! LOL


thanks for look out man... I will need alot of those parts soon... I found a set of NEW Eibach Pro kit lowering springs and a set of KYB shocks Both Brand new $100 for everything... that fixes most of my suspension i will need..

I think I found the perfect donor car... its in a junk yard. they said they will sell me the hole car for 900.. I can get the motor, auto trans, trans mount, wiring, tail light, insturment cluster, computer, MAF, map, vacuum canister mounted in the fender, head lights, etc.... even has all the smog **** i will need...
