Well we just got our homeport shift letter so I will be moving to San Diego to Pt. Leoma in March. I need some assistance in finding a house with a two car a garage. Not sure if I can do that with my BAH but it's $1700 area. I dont care to drive more than 30 minutes tops. Maybe someone is a agent or wife is or knows a good one. Love to have a place when I get there or shortly afterwards. Thanks in advance for any assistance. -Shane

I am in Imperial Beach, the apartment complex I live in has two car garage and is 30 mins to PT Loma. Shoot me a PM with your move in date and I can ask the Apt Manager if anything is available. I am paying 1300 rent on the two car garage, two bedroom, 1 1/2 Bath.

I need an estimated move in date.

We have been living here for 9 years, big thing here is, NO parties. First warning is when you move in, second is from the Manager, third you are gone. I have seen this happen twice in the last six months. They just wink and look away at the no working on cars clause.

Both of our Bullitts fit in the garage, with the full size washer/dryer.

Try craiglist. There's usually a few houses for rent on there. I don't know if you ever been out to San Diego area, but if you see something on there and not sure on location, we can help you here.

Thank guys, have been to the area once. I went through Small Arms Instuctor school there about 7 months ago. I loved it here to say the least and it is killer compaired to South Texas. I stayed on North Island and had school on dry side/wet side and Pt Leoma. Just looking for the bang for the buck as would anyone else. Not alot of traffic, good area and not that far from work. Hope I dont have to put the miles on the Cobra and trailor her but we shall see. Thanks again-Shane

Not a lot of traffic is a BIG problem!

No matter where you live, getting into and out of San Diego is a pain in the ass!!
