Hey Sub...What desert are you considering? I was talking to the boss at home (my girl) and we agreed to take the kids desert camping soon. Possibly Glamis, or the dunes off the 8 just before AZ.

I was thinking about going out to Borrego, but I know what you talking about off the 8, that sounds good, too.

That's what I was looking for, the San Diego/SoCal, military backdrop. Just sometimes difficult because of people. But workday, parkings are open and very few people around. Got one with a helo in the background.

Man! I went to Borrego in July for a cruise with the kids, it was 116 degress at 5pm!!! The clerk at the liquor store told me that when temps get close to 120, they have blackouts and the city just "shuts down". Nice to visit in the summer...but...

Oh I know that. That was one of my areas. Imagine wearing a bulletproof vest working out there in the summer. I was in a mobile oven.

Spring or Fall, that's when I'm thinking of going out there for the photo shoot.
