would this kit fit a 99 v6? i really want to get some top end power, the v6s only pull hard down bottom. will 3.55s help or hurt that? would you do a package deal?

The nitrous kit can be made to work although there are external parts needed to complete a system for your car.

The gears unfortunately will not work in your car as V6s have a 7.5" rear end and these gears are out of a larger 8.8".

This is a WET system. Rather than explain it all here, you can Google it for explicit info.
But in a nutshell, both fuel and nitrous are injected into the airstream leading to the TB (Throttle Body) via a "fogger". A fogger is a sprayer nozzle that sprays both nitrous and fuel at the same time into the intake.

The reason for more fuel is that nitrous alone can cause your engine to run lean and detonate which can be disasterous.

To introduce this cocktail of fuel and NOS into your intake at the right time, you can either activate the solenoids with a momentary switch at an rpm you feel safe at (usually 3000 or above) or you can buy an electronic "window" switch that will do it automatically at an RPM you program in.

You will also need a fuel rail adapter as I am keeping mine (for a fuel pressure gauge) and it probably wouldn't work on your car anyway. This is in essence a "tap" into your fuel system so you can run a fuel line from your fuel rail to a fuel solenoid and then to the fogger.

We have a member her Blackstallion06 who is really up on this much more than I am and he can be a wealth of information although he runs NOS on his V8.
