Prothane's upper 3rd link bushing replaces the OEM rubber bushing on the axle end of your upper control arm. This control arm is also known as the 3rd link in the Mustang's suspension. Replacing your OEM rubber bushing with a polyurethane bushing can vastly improve launching and rear end grip. The rubber bushing twists and flexes when the axle is under load, the urethane bushing helps resist this movement.
