I am going to have my 67 Mustang coupe shipped to me from storage on the east coast. I have owned it for a long time(2000) and it has been sitting semi outside since some of the work was done on it. So alot of it needs to be redone again. I now have financial ability to get this thing moving again. I want to have a shop Strip to bare metal, fix all metal work, and repaint it. It just about needs everything redone.....

The metal work needed in my assessment is:
Right and left floors(replacements were installed poorly some time back)
Rear frame extensions(both sides are extremely rusted and one appears to have been damaged)
trunk floors(replacements were installed poorly awhile ago)
both quarters(needs both replaced)
cowl side panels(both sides are rotted on the edges)
outer firewalls(same as cowl side panels)
front floor extensions
front torque boxes
engine bay completely repaired
replace fenders(cheaper than repairing the current ones)
reair rear corner of hood(It is bent)
repair door bottoms(pinholes in the corners)
repair slight dent on the roof(looks like someone hit it with a baseball)

They will not be doing any interior, trim, drivetrain, etc. Basically repair/replacing all the normal rusted out sections and repainting the entire car. What do you guys think would be a fair price for all this work to be done? I was thinking with parts and labor depending on the shop, anywhere from 8-12K? Is that in the ballpark for that amount of work? rest will get done as I can get it done.

Any experience with Mustang Auto in El Cajon? Good, Bad, Indifferent?

Thanks guys. I am just looking at a ballpark number. I hope I can finally get this car done. I have owned it for quite some time now and really need to get the thing completed.

Emilio, do you have an engine stand and engine lift that could be borrowed? While the car is in getting the metal and paintwork I will be rebuilding the motor.....Maybe we could have a WickedStangs engine build. LOL! Can you get engine parts through the WS Performance Shop at decent prices?
