Ride height...

Im running 4cyl front springs and v8 vert rear springs... stock 4cyl struts and shocks all the way around... as you know my mom has a 89 5.0 auto all stock... i measured from the ground to the top of the front and rear wheel wells on both car...my car sits 3/4 inch higher in the front and 1 1/4 inch higher in the rear.. Are the springs for the verts different? if so how many coils do you think i should cut if that is the issue?

I want it to sit low... i want it to almost tuck a 235/60R15.....

just measure the rear of my car... the bottom of the rear wheel well is at 28 1/4 inches high... i want it 26 inches high... so i'm wanting at least a 2 inch drop in the rear...

i would imagine vert springs would be stiffer than hardtop springs, as the verts are heavier.

for cutting, i believe people usually go 1/2 coil at a time, no more than 1.5 coils total. for proper suspension setup, lowering springs are a much better idea.

also, i converted to coilovers in the front and still have the eibach lowering springs left over from the switch. not sure on part numbers, they are up at my parents house

for the setup im looking for the 4cyl springs are almost perfect...this is a very low buck build and 300 to spring for springs lol is just not cost effective....

of course later on down the line it will get bigger and better things

looking at weight transfer bee jay... I want them soft to lift the front end on a hard launch to transfer weight to the rear tires.. I was also hoping to get a couple inch lowering out of it but doesnt seem to be doing that...

probably going to cut 1 and a half coils out of the rear...

well i cut a coil and a half out of my rear springs... only lowered it about an 1 1/2... still lokking for about another 1/2 inch.... but if i lower it another 1/2 inch the front will sit higher then the rear... so it worked out good...

these vert springs are stiff!!!

i didnt know you were going for the drag launch type idea. i hear 96-04 v6 springs work extremely well in the rear.
