rim size fit

hey i was looking around and saw a rim size of 19x11.5

would this fit on a 06 gt ????

nvm i fill stupid. Though you had 19's and asking if that tire would fit. IDK if that rim will fit. Ive heard of 20's on a s197 but not sure how wide.

7.3" backspace......Hmmmmmmmmm

Take off your wheel and measure the backspace, probably about 6".

This MIGHT fit, may have to use a spacer and I DO NOT recommend that. I have put 17 x 10.5 off an 03 on my car and they fit fine-no spacers. Don't know about these.

Those wheels have a wide outside lip though. Those Ford GT style wheels dont have the out side lip so the majority of the width will be inboard... I dont think they are going to fit.

LaughingGT....I have 19x10.5 wheels and I'm telling you, if I have to do it again, I will go 20 or 18s. The tires for 19s are outrageous and the selections are very limited. It is next to impossible to find DRs for them. The only ones I found that make them are BFG and Michilen's and the cheapest ones are $550 EACH and good luck trying to find slicks, because it is impossible. I put Nittos 555r DRs on couple of 17s I got from GT400.
My advice, stay away from 19s. Go either 20s or 18s.

Dakota those rims will not fit, those are the ones made for the Ford GT, you will have to do cutting on the car

They will fit as long as they are 5 on 4 1/2. The new S 197 will fit any style mustang rim from any year as long as they are 5 lugg of course. That is why GT400 can run 03-04 cobra rims but its the oppisite for s197 rims going onto another car they will fit but look funny. I would go with 18's or 20's like SUB recomended. If you are thinking about racing under our s197 tech section I posted rims that are 15 inches that will go on our car
