We’re in luck! Saleen is improving upon their two most important cars – the Heritage and the Extreme – and will have them ready for us by 2008.
The H302 SC – which will be the upgraded Heritage model – will have a unique design mixture of the Parnelli Jones Limited Mustang and the original Heritage model. It will be built with a shaker hood – which has the ability to bring in cool air and move in into the air box that is above the engine.
The one thing that both models will share is a brand new 302 cubic inch supercharged engine (like the one in the Parnelli Jones Limited Edition Mustang) giving them both more horsepower than the previous models, with a mind numbing (rumored) 600+ pavement pounding horsepower. Also expect Saleen’s Racecraft suspension, upgraded Saleen brakes, and much more.
Better styling and*the bump in ponies*leaves us with the impression that these two Mustangs will only be available to a select few. We should have more details on both cars as their release draws closer. For now we can’t wait to get behind the wheel and truly experience the power they hold.
