Hi all- I'm a newb here, but have been into stangs for years, and am down to 4 mustangs (2 SVOs, and 2 vintage)
Ok, I know several of you have seen us race at the stadium- I'm not talking about race legal, but autocross- where we go around the cones and race against the clock.
There is an event coming up on Nov 16th, in the west lot at Qualcomm stadium.

some things you'll need to know are-

its important to note what modifications are allowed in a stock class- they are very limiting to keep it equal.

this is a work/run event- racers MUST also work the course (chasing knocked down cones, etc).
the cost for the event will be ~$50 if you aren't a regional member and an scca member.
car numbers are available at the event (for $1).
the car doesn't need much safety equip- things are needed like a non-loose battery, non-loose wheels, seatbelt, etc. common sense stuff really.
if your car falls into the morning group, plan on being there at 7:45ish
if your car falls into the afternoon group, plan on being there at 10:45ish
please- this is a quality event run by quality people. we dont make money on these things (the parking lot rental is $2k alone). Crappy behaviour will not be tolerated, asshats will be asked to leave by the event chairman (me).
There will also be members of other mustang clubs there. I won't put up with anyones **** and will kick you all out if there is even one word of hostility.
this is a fun event. bring your termi's and fox's.
