Aluminum has a very large weight to strength ratio, making it one of the best materials to build a control arm out of. Billet aluminum means that the control arm starts off as one solid block of aluminum, and is machined down to the precise shape and specifications of our control arm. Our arms do not feature any kind of slotted opening in the center of the arm, which can vastly reduce the strength of the arm.
