The time has come to start doing these. First, we would like to disclose the financial side of the site so that people understand what the donations are really going to.
Here is the breakdown of what we currently pay out and what we will be paying out to keep this site and events going strong!
Initial Costs(almost all of these were within the last year):
vBulletin- $170.00 (Original cost to purchase the forum software)
WS Garage- $35.00 (Where those that donate can post up pics of their cars and such)
Donation System- $40.00 (When you donate to the site this program automatically updates your permissions)
Subscription System- $40.00 (Updates automatically your subscription sttus and allows appropriate actions)
Miner Skin/Installation- $100.00 (Building of the site and install of it to the web)
vBadvanced Portal- $50.00
WS Link System- $40.00
Total- $475.00
Miscellaneous Costs:
Trophies for events- $433.00
Current Annual Costs:
vBulletin Software License- $40.00
WS Name- $35.00
1st Hosting Site- $130.00 (All posts are hosted here)
2nd Hosting Site- $195.00 (WSPS and Photo Gallery is hosted here)
Miner Skin- $25.00 (Continuous upgrades to the site)
Total: $425.00
Future Proposed Costs:
1st Hosting Site- $250.00 (Will allow 2.5 times the bandwidth that we currently are going over every month)
Total Current 1 year costs: $425.00
This will increase to $545.00 plus trophies and any other upgrades we ask for on here.
Obviously some of these costs were incurred awhile back but the repeating charges are what most dont see. Every addition to the website costs money. Even adding new games costs an average of $5.00 each. Those were not listed above. 100% of the funds that are coming in are being used to upgrade the site. The trophies are from our October Cruise. I hope all that frequent this site and gain knowledge from the information exchanged here will help keep WS the best experience on the net! Please support as you can. If you do not have access to something it is most likely because you have not donated, if you have donated, please contact wickedstangs for resolution on that issue.

December 2008 hit count: 1,900,000+ hits(I bet 1,000,000 were VP.....J/K)
January 2009 hit count: 910,000+ (It is only the 17th!!!)
These are up from less than 300,000 a year ago. Great job to all with recruiting and setting a proper image for our club. These numbers show people want this club to take over!
