so...sorry i havent been on in awhile. back to doing gator squares out in the water.....fun huh. i tried to post in military muster, but i cant, so i'll update you all on here.

so, as you know i was on what we call "operation per-diem" in bahrain. we were staying at a bad ass hotel making $130 a day on top of our pay. that was fun til the MEU had to pay us and decided it was too expensive, so they sent us down to Djibouti. fricken affrica of all places. so that sucked, anyways we are back to doing nothing somewhere and i got the tip that i should be comming home advon at the end of july. so, thats sweet.

other than that i got word that i cant get stationed in washington, so im lost and have no idea what i want to do. i could be on terminal leave as early as sept 1st if i wanted to, but i dont know. anyways, keep up the awesome work with the club and i should be seeing you soon. i cant wait to jump back into things and get out to some events.

yeah, i'll be back as soon as i can, to finf my fox with a dead battery and flat tires....lol. oh, btw, i gotta get the tq boxed repaired and the rear end straightened....anyone got any good places to take care of that? i want to beef them up too if its not too expensive

No idea......BJ you need to seriously think aout getting out in this economy....it is quite tough out there right now. Not saying you dont have any options, just saying make sure you think it through.


My buddy is a recruiter and is turning all kinds of people away as there are too many now. He also is having issues getting ex Navy guys back in....the ones that bailed because civilian life was gonna be better and they were gonna take over daddys business and that kind of BS....

Just a thought. I am sure you will do the right thing.

thanks for the input gibs...i know. ive thought a lot about it. now that whidbey island is out of the question i have to look into other places. NY is one of them, virginia, and even louisiana. maybe some others. most likely i will be staying in, just moving to a new location somwhere. ya know.

i'll be ready for barona a couple weeks after i get back. gotta fix the car and take leave and such. they even tell me i have to get my wisdom teeth pulled right when i get back (apparantly im non deployable) HAHA. its gonna be hectic.

Another thing to consider is that in tough times a lot more people go back to school. The new GI bill pays you (housing Allowance) as an E5 with dependants + 1000 for books. Just a thought.

yeah orange you right about the school, and i could pocket all the BAH because the wifes grand parents woudl buy us a house if we moved back...i dont know, maybe i jsut like wearing the uniform and i dont want to get out. we'll see how it goes down. no matter what, wherever i go there will be a new WS chapter, thats for sure!
