i got a question.....will my tax return be larger this year because i spent most of it in iraq? that is what everyone is telling me, but out there its tax free. anyone know??

I am not sure. I heard today that youguys get yours earlier than the navy. I was wondering what date they actually come out on. I also heard you can use jan1st LES at H&R Block and they can use that to do your W2 Anyone have any input on subject?

i dont know about that, but i think our w2's come out around jan 10th. and i go to liberty taxes...last year i got 4600, hoping for more this year..pay off my car and part of the credit card. then i can start buying car shit

why go to H&R block if you can go on base. They will do it for you for free...Tax season will start soon and the bases does it for free. It takes 7 working days for you to see it in your account. If there is no problems when they submit your taxes...I will have that information for you guys the minute I get it.. I tell you the locations.

i dont go on base because they dont do as good of a job...and they are always packed.

from experiance...are peoples returns higher when they return from deployment?
I go to H&R Block I got kids so my returns are always right under 10G I dont care about spending the money to have it the next day or so. I need to buy some entertainment for out to sea. I want that new 8gig ipod The black stallion would like some new floor mats, long tube headers, and a cover to keep her warm at night while I am gone. I think the wife wants to pay some bills or something too cant remember lol
The NAVY ones will be out no later than the 22nd of Jan. You can use the December LES for your taxes but if you invest into TSP or whatever I would wait for the W-2. I use HR Block because of the ease of use......online....No lines there! I plan on trying to pay down the wifes car so with my SRB it is paid off.

Well got news for you guys. I get almost ten back every year. It is usually 9 and some change. I will be going on deployment for 4 monthes as well so will be saving some money for mods. When I get back you watch out lol
