  :heeeelllllooooo:

I just bought this today after a short search for a fox.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED ME SEARCH :hello:

1990 LX Notchback, SSP/police car. Ex-Missouri trooper car. 133k miles

mods:

-BBK headers
-BBK Fender intake
-BBK throttle body
-24 lb injectors
-Kenny brown brace
-welded subframe connectors
-flowmasters
-MAC O/R H-Pipe
-short shifter
-drilled rotors front
-Koni shocks all around
-cobra intake plenum (painted cheap, will replace)

Its an authentic SSP car. Has the single key lock/ignition, trunk switch relocation, heavy duty amp, buck tags DSO tag, 160 MPH certified speedo

Very minor issues to work on, but excellent for a daily driver!

I couldn't decide between this one and the 89 Saleen, but I was too late for the Saleen.............so I took this one. I pick it up Tuesday

very nice does your son have his eye on it haha

Well, in the eyes of a 16 year old new driver he'll get a sweet deal! He'll get the 2008 Civic Si which only has 20k miles currently. My ex-wife wants him in a car with current safety standards and poop load of airbags all around  I told her to take back that vagina and give him back his manhood

but.......ALL the Stangs are MY toys! he can borrow my truck

1990 SSP Notchback LX
1993 SVT Cobra 23k miles
2007 GT500

NICE CAR!!:adore: If it's a true (trooper car) then it ..is..a..collector's car. Check out article in Mustang Milestone's by Auto trader magazine. ALSO go to www.sspmustang.org for information on ssp cars.:D

I've been online a bit checking out SSP relatd stuff and came across that site. I'm there also now.

Yeah, I'm familiar with what to look for on SSP cars and I couldn't find any clues to it being a clone. Has the buck tags on the core support as well. Those would be tricky to clone.

Sweet car though! I'm gonna very the vin later. Even if its a clone, I like it.

Great looking car. How much did you end up picking it up for?

Cost me $4300 so far. I have a few stuff lined up already. My budget was around $8-$9k, so I have room for a few things

The one that got away :banghead:

I was too late for this one. Was a California car all its life, still with original plates. It's going to Louisiana I believe. Would have been nice to keep it here.

The more I think about it though, I don't think I would've wanted to use that Saleen as a daily driver. It's just way too nice. I would've felt guilty about putting miles on it just like I do on my 93 SVT Cobra. Thats why I wanted a daily driver in the first place, so I can leave the collectibles under the cover and still drive a nice looking Fox body. I think I would've ended up in the same situation after spending $7500. In the end, I'm glad this worked out.
