Thoughts on the reliability of your 4.6L at higher HP

Looks as if your ordinary 4.6L is good up to 550 HP, right? I mean, 500 HP for 48 hours at redline without a problem ... ?

great article loved evey word of it that huy can type. not to sure he could have left the eraserpart out and book shelves but it dose get the point accross but that one guy is right why would ford not put this out to the consummers??? this wold be great info, thats info that would make people buy that engine or a mustang for that fact but its makeing me rethinkn what im going to do now with mine once again great articl to bring up

Yeah, I saw that too and it seems like it just got bypassed. Hmmmm.....guess 2V are just not worth the discussion. LOL!

Great article. Very interesting.... Me personally, I would not leave something like that to chance. If I supercharged an engine to make two, three or more times the original power output I would immediately start saving for new internals or a crate motor. If your worried buy the kit with the factory warranty right?
