Hot topics are:
1. Dash Plaques for the Oct. Cruise
- GT400 is coming up with a design and we will get a quote from the trophy place for 100 of them. Completed
- Gibs is going to send the design to someone he knows that makes Dash Plaques and get another quote.
2. Monthly Meetings will be at the Canyon Club until furhter notice.
- This starts for the July 2nd Meeting. Please see upcoming events or the calendar for info.
3. July 4th Car Show at FASW Point Loma.
- Bill says he has about 20 openings left.
- Need to fill out the application and submit either by fax or by email.
- All car show attendants get to sit on the Mezzanine at the Admiral Kidd Club for the Fireworks. This is one of the best spots in San Diego to see the fireworks and being up there allows an unrestricted view of 4 shows.
- He will start pulling us in at about 12:00 that day and the show starts at 3:00.
- Best parking you will find for the event.
4. Letters to Companies to Sponsor the Oct Cruise.
- Gibs and Emilio bought Envelopes and Stamps to send out 25 Letters with 6 more going out today.
- I have 19 more letters so if you think of other sponsors from the ones on the list in the planning forum let me know.
5. T-Shirts up for the Cruise in OCT.
- Right now they do not have anything on the back of them. That is being reserved for the sponsors that come back with things for us.
- on 31 July the sponsors that have responded will have their logos added to the back of the shirts and to all flyers and all promotional itmes for the event.
6. TRUFIBER
- They have come onboard for giving away another hood this event.
7. 50/50 Raffle October cruise
- We will be selling tickets for the 50/50 raffle $1 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.
- Half will goto the winner, half to WickedStangs Mustang Club
- All tickets will be logged as far as who bought them.
- Winner must be present to collect. That is the reason for the rule above this one. You can not just pass it off to your buddy.
- I think possibly have a get together at a TGIF or something nice with the 50%.....just a thought

- WickedStangs will be buying these ones: Power Adder class 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.; Best Ford; and Best in Show.
-SoCalMuscle will be buying the following: N/A Class 1st, 2nd, 3rd.; Best GM Vehicle.

-Make sure we have our banner there and out so others can see it in the Cafe.
10. I came up with this one.....standby for stupidity....LOL
- I would like to see us host 3 events a year.
1. October Cruise
2. Car Show in Mid June
3. Another event in the Feb/Mar timeframe.
- We will still have our own events that are members only( Palomar Mountain, Weekly Meets, Movie Nights, Detail Days, Etc, Etc...)
- We will still join other clubs events throughout the year.
- I would love to see those 3 events we call ours by being the host club become part of the SoCal Mustang Scene.
