Trip to Shelby factory in vegas

I've got less than a month left in san diego before I head out to maryland for my new dutystation. I need to make a trip to see the shelby factory in vegas before i leave and was wandering if anyone would like to come along. Im thinking of the june 5th weekend, leave that friday afternoon and come back sunday morning and i would be willing to split a room with someone. The main thing is i'm trying not to drive by myself in case I get too tired but I definitely want to go before I put my stang on a trailer to be sent off.

They are like across the street from the LVMS and from Shelby.........

Well it looks like the factory tours and the cafe are only open mon thru friday so my idea is cannex.. LOL I'll just find another time to go...

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. M-F for all of their Vegas facilities.


When I go, I always stay at The Cannery Hotel/Casino, in North Las Vegas. It's off Craig Rd about 5 minutes before getting to the Speedway exit/Shelby Bldgs. This way I stay away from the crowds at the strip. I'm not a fan of crowds and traffic.

cool well i have a (48hr) two day off coupon from re-enlisting in october i need to use up so i may go on the ninth and come back the 10th Im checking out the airforce in at the base near by the factory wich should be nice

Hoosier, the base is seriously across the street from the LV Motor Speedway and Shelby complex area...... look on Mapquest for the base and the track. Shelby is by the track.

Just look for the field of cars in the chain link fence.

The runway is right across the street, maingate is about 5 miles down the road

HA HA Yep your are right.....the entrance is down the street a little....I thought the one across the street was the right one.

I was referred there by a few guys that goto vegas one long weekends and stay there all the time....they said much better for the price than some hotels they stayed in out there.

Best time to go to Vegas is Monday thru Thursday. Hotels are DIRT cheap
