Hello everyone. While I am very new to this site and to the Wicked Stangs family, I am not new to organizing rides, events, parties, and running things. I have two projects in the pipeline that I will need help with.
The first is a Charity Ride, and show. I know I know there are many of those that happen, but this one is a good one. My friends from the San Diego Chargers and I have been working an angle to raise money for kids who need a little extra help, and money. Like all kids most are into sports and cars. Now we have decided to combine the two. My friends play pro football, and I am a car nut. It only seemed natural to combine the two. A few of the guys are bringing their customized rides out, we will try to work in a burnout competition, and a car show for the kids to see the cars, listen to the motors, and maybe throw a football around with a pro athlete. I am looking to get a team together to help me get this moving along while I have connections they dont have the time to organize but their presence is worth so much to these kids. I need some guys to help me, organize, make some calls, put out emails, post bulletins, make flyers, and promote. I also would love some feedback and ideas. The best way to get a job done is with team work my friends agree with me on and off the field that is a good motto. So message me lets get together and give something to these kids.
That was long this is much shorter but still nice. A FORD VS CHEVY SHOOTOUT!!!!!! A small entrance fee to run, set up time brackets, run heads up, talley the wins and the Logo with the most wins takes home bragging rights. Now the good thing and the catch for the community is, that the entrance fee goes into a large pot. I have a counterpart/nemesis who is a die hard Chevy fan who is helping me out. The winner of the shootout Ford cars or Chevy cars will take the pot, and give it to the pre determined charity of their choice. This will give us backing from Charity organizations, and give us a foot to negotiate with the proper people to get a race going. My friend will get the bowtie girls LOL to vote on a charity and I will try to do the same from the Ford guys. The charity we come up with I will get in contact with and discuss this with them, to help promote the event. I will need a team for this as well. Plus here is your chance to invite that clown in the Z28 Camaro that has been pissin you off to a heads up race for a good cause and to finally end the debate on who is faster.
