Upper Rear Control Arm Bushing Replacement?

I'm planning on replacing my almost nonexistent upper rear control arm bushings with some spherical ones but am concerned about whether or not I need to remove the outer metal sleeve. I will be buying the tool to do it all myself but I want to buy everything at one time. I don't want to press it all out and then have to go buy a new sleeve. I've never replaced these bushings before so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

You can burn out the old bushings or get the tool from Max Motorsports. Or....you can replace your stock control arms with JDM tubular control arms for $129. Much easier and not much more money when you figure it all up. Your choice, but yes the metal has to come out. Those that have used the tool say that it works very well.

Ok thanks. I've already got adjustable upper control arms and now its time for the bushings. I think I'm just going to buy the tool. I looked it up and its only 30 dollars or so and this won't be the last mustang I own so i'm sure i'll use it again and again. Thanks again.
