Our US Navy Ceremonial Guard Silent Drill Team was invited to compete in Norway in May of 2009. The Navy competed against military units from all over NATO and won first place. After watching this video, it's clear why they won. Sound on please.

When I pushed boots, they used to have a recruiter for the ceremonial gaurd come to our divisions looking for new people. The standards for them to get into it are difficult to meet. Certain Height, weight, look, and be able to stand for extremely long periods at attention and such. They also have to sacrifice getting an A school too. They are all unrated for their time there. I sent 4 recruits to the CG out of my 9 divisions I pushed. I dont wish that duty on anyone....

They are great at what they do.

Good post E.
